How to choose the teeth?
Various types of variable pitch toothing for each cutting thickness:

up to 1.5 mm Recommended teeth: 10/14

from 1 to 2 mm Recommended teeth; 8/12 or 10/14

from 2 to 3 mm Recommended teeth: 8/12

from 3 to 5 mm Recommended teeth: 6/10

from 4 to 6 mm Recommended teeth: 5/8

from 6 to 12 mm Recommended teeth: 4/6

Over 12 mm: Recommended teeth: 3/4 or 2/3

IMPORTANT COUNCIL:
Compared to the teeth used, if the material, it has a higher section of the maximum value indicated in the table at that teeth, or smaller than minimum, reduce penetration to engrave the material.

Leaving the drop-down speed unchanged, if larger, the gorges fail to discharge chips and then knead the cutting edges.

If it is smaller, the material enters the throat between tip and tip of the tooth, no at least two teeth in the socket, tears tear: then in both cases the premature breaking of the tooth occurs.

Always remember that for light alloys you need to use a larger step (number of lower teeth) of that necessary for cutting the corresponding iron section to which the table refers, while for stainless steel use a smaller step (number of upper teeth) of the respective table.

To the cut, adequate lubrication is always accompanied except the truncating machines in which the blade has a narrow section and / or where it is not required as best indicated on the instruction booklet of the respective machine.
