Before buying a rechargeable technical gas cylinder it is important to keep in mind some things that can have important relapses both from the point of view of the security and economic management.

First we keep in mind that we are talking about a container under pressure loaded at 200 bar, some at 300 bar, therefore they are subject to approvals to regulatory strings and tests.

All cylinders must be marked mandatory (ADR 2011) with the following indications:

- Cylinder thread
- manufacturer's brand and manufacturing status
- Series of the cylinder
- Compatibility with H2 (hydrogen)
- Operating pressure (only for compressed gases)
- hydraulic test pressure
- empty mass
- capacity
- Minimum thickness of the walls
- marking π and number of organism
- Construction standard
- Brand Organism Care and Country Country
- Date of initial control (AAAA / mm)
- Brand and country of the organism that performs periodic checks
- Revision date
- maximum permissible filling and tare container (liquefied gas)
- UN number and gas designation or gas mixture

The components of the cylinder:

- Cappellotto
- residual pressure valve
- barcode
- Compulsory punching (see above)
- coloring of the oguation (according to the current legislation) and stamping (see above)
- cylinder body
- Cylinder body coloring (distinction between gas use, food, technical)

The cylinder must be accompanied by aCertificate of approval

When in possession of the owner, the cylinder must report the following characteristics in a European language (EU) and in Italian:

- Vacuum tare
- Construction regulations
- Expiration of the testing

- trade name of the product
- name, address and telephone number of the marketing owner (manufacturer or distributor)

- Risk phrases

- CE number, UN number and ADR designation
